QUALITY. Structural Design Collaborative LLC (SDC) was founded in 2000 to provide reliable structural engineering services to the local and national building community. With over 24 years experience in commercial and residential structural design, Principal Jeffrey C. Chacon P.E. (formerly of Structural Consultants, Inc.) leads his team to produce designs which are economical, practical, and timely. SDC strives to provide high quality structural engineering services and excellent attention to client needs while maintaining this quality design standard.
COMMITMENT. It is our philosophy that each project and project team receives detailed personal service. To that end, we are committed to organizing our staff so that each project is guided by a project manager whose commitment to the design team and to providing excellent service to our client is at the highest possible level. It is within the framework of this commitment that SDC can respond to the needs of our clients with unparalleled service.
EXPERIENCE. We have extensive experience with residential, retail, commercial, recreational, hospital, warehouse, mixed-use, high-rise, and multi-family projects. We have ample knowledge of wood, concrete, steel, masonry, and light gauge steel construction. We have practiced with building departments, codes, and contractors in the Western USA as well as Illinois, Florida, and Arkansas. We hold licenses in Colorado and California, and we are able to obtain licensure in most other states as necessary.
